Dunja has emerges as the promising new squash variety. The plant is open and nicely compact with a vigorous growth habit, allowing it easy to work in. The fruits set easily and, compared to the standard varieties,the total yield is high. The shiny, finely speckled fruits, dark green in colour, are medium long and of excellent quality. Another great advantage of this variety is its resistance to many viruses (ZYMV, WMII and PRSV) and mildew.
